The UK Energy Club invites you to join us next week at Powering UK! We are partnering with to help you build (and take home) your own portable power-bank! Chargers will be made with 3D printed material and have enough power to charge your phone 2-3 times!

Our Solar powered umbrellas are set to be installed next week - cause for celebration, don't you think? We certainly think so, and you are all invited to the ribbon-cutting celebration if you do too!

Join us for our meeting with guest speaker CMTA! We will be learning about how CMTA makes buildings more energy efficient and we will look into some energy savings in the Whitehall Classroom Building! Canes will be provided π

For those of you that aren't aware, Energy Club has been working on a project to bring solar powered picnic canopies to UK's campus for almsot a full year. We have been patiently working through countless funding, approval, and logistical red tape to make it happen... and THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME!
The tables are set to be installed next week - cause for celebration, don't you think? We certainly think so! You are all invited to the meet and greet AND the ribbon-cutting celebration if you do too!

The UK Energy Club is excited to announce that the E-Board elections for the 2022-23 academic year will be held this Thursday, April 21st, at 7:00 pm in FPAT 259. Join us there if you are interested in seeking a board position or if you want to vote to help determine who will be on the next E-Board!
All positions are open; see the above graphics for more details. Also, you can run for as many positions as you'd like.

The UK Energy Club invites you to participate in an upcoming tour of a local power generation facility featuring multiple generation technologies! We will tour the Kentucky Utilities (KU) E. W. Brown Generating Station in Harrodsburg, KY this Friday afternoon. We will meet at the UK Main Building at 12:30 pm and depart from campus then. Transportation will be provided and this event will be an excused absence from coursework.

We look forward to our first event of 2022 this week! Join the UK Energy Club at 7 pm this Thursday in 259 F. Paul Anderson Tower for a presentation by Josh Raglin, Chief Sustainability Officer at Norfolk Southern Corporation.
