Keep making all of us in the Hannon Laboratory proud, Gretchen! 💙🔬🌟
At the University of Kentucky, Gretchen Ruschman became a “well-rounded scientist.” As a 3-year Research Ambassador, Gretchen helped connect hundreds of students with research opportunities.
In 2024, Gretchen graduated with her degree in agricultural and medical biotechnology. She recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with her Master of Philosophy in medical science with a focus on obstetrics and gynecology and is now in her first year in the NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program where she will earn her doctorate while researching with one of the two universities and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The lab’s about to be in a real pickle with Madison Wilson leaving for PA school… 🏓🥒💔😭🏥
Luckily we packed her final week with an astronomical number of experiments (and mandatory lab bonding at PKL LEX) before she makes her escape! 🤭🔬🐁
