For these two families, their NICU journeys ended differently, but their mission is the same: helping others navigate the road they traveled.

Jayden was born at just 26 weeks, 2 days and spent 76 days in the NICU at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY. He came home on oxygen and monitors, and those early years were filled with challenges—bronchiolitis, medications, and many hospital visits. At 12 months, he began First Steps, which made a world of difference. With therapies and preschool support, Jayden was able to overcome developmental delays. Today, Jayden is 14 years old—a true miracle and a reminder of how far these tiny fighters can come. -Angie R.
