The Lexington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta was chartered April 26, 1985. The chapter became a part of the South Atlantic Region. To distinguish between the other Lexington Alumnae Chapters, the chapter was later renamed, as Lexington (NC) Alumnae.
