Yay!

Play, joy, and love are biological necessities. 🧬

The emerging science of epigenetics shows that your environment, your emotions, and your relationships can switch genes on and off, regulating everything from inflammation to immune function to how fast you age.

Your nervous system was designed for love and belonging, and when you deprive it of that, everything downstream suffers — your hormones, your immunity, your brain, your longevity.

Think of joy, connection, and play as part of your health stack; just as essential as what you eat, how you move, and how you sleep.

So laugh more, love deeply, and stop treating joy like something you have to earn after all the “real” health stuff is done.

It IS the real health stuff.

Thank you Molly for this beautiful reminder of santosa💗

As we step into a new year, we’re often taught to strive to fix something within us, become someone better, or to endlessly run a race for that next level in life, the next big/new thing…

Santosha - contentment - offers a different starting place for us: nothing is missing in this moment.

From this place of feeling enough, change becomes rooted in clarity, not luck or intention.

When we cultivate Santosha, we stop postponing our happiness until a future version of ourself arrives.

We begin to rest in the present moment, knowing that contentment is not a destination, but a practice.

My hope for you is that you begin to cultivate an unforced practice of contentment this new year (we don’t have to unpack and live there) - just notice more often, life is beautiful as it is- and may abundance then follow you.
