What’s the psychology behind this?

I’ve always wondered and we’re sure some of you have also experienced this…

Whenever we’re pulling trailer, in the truck or just driving down a road with a dotted double yellow line, what is it that makes people think “I HAVE TO RIDE THEIR ASS” or “I HAVE TO PASS BC THE LINE IS DOTTED”

Even though we’re going the speed limit ..
they just HAVE TO.

What are your thoughts? 🤔

Boy have we had a morning 😅

You know how a dog will get scared of thunderstorms and do things like sleep in the bathtub? (Ours does!)

Well, livestock can also act silly when there’s a big storm.

Yesterday we moved Sunny back to his hutch just so we’d be sure he’d have good shelter. Well, the lambs were NOT happy about that 😆

They got out looking for him and stood by his hutch in the pouring rain 🥹

“What breed are you focusing on?”

Well, to be honest
We aren’t 🙂

Here’s a great example of some crossbreeding beauty 🙌

His mom is a Hereford, and his dad is a Baldy (a Hereford × Angus cross). That makes him ¾ Hereford and ¼ Angus.

So… why don’t we just breed purebred cattle?
Crossbreeding offers some BIG advantages:

✅ Improved growth + performance
✅ Better fertility + longevity
✅ Increased hardiness
✅ More efficient cattle
✅ The opportunity to combine the best traits from multiple breeds

No single breed is perfect. By thoughtfully selecting genetics, we can build a herd that’s productive, healthy, and well-suited for our goals.
(This also gives you, our customers, more options tailored to what you love!)

As our herd continues to grow, you’ll see more intentional crossbreeding. Every breeding decision is made with the next generation in mind🐄
