We’re excited to recognize Sophilia Hubbard as our June Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Participant of the Month! 🎉

Sophilia has been a dedicated FSS participant for nearly two years. When she joined the program, she was working part-time and had a clear goal in mind: securing a full-time position with the Virginia Department of Health, where she knew an opportunity would soon become available.

Through determination, hard work, and perseverance, that goal became a reality. Within six months, she was hired into a full-time role serving mothers and children in our community.

Along the way, Sophilia worked closely with her FSS Coordinator at Villages at Lincoln to connect with resources that supported her journey toward self-sufficiency. She secured reliable childcare, completed the Bank On Wellness financial education series, and continues to take meaningful steps toward building a stable and successful future for herself and her family.

Congratulations, Sophilia! Your dedication and commitment to achieving your goals are an inspiration, and we are proud to celebrate your success.
