Kiersyn Duncombe is Louisa-Muscatine’s first Girls Wrestling State place winner! 5th place as a freshman! She had a take down and escape against the 1A 155lb champion, who is nationally ranked. And scored 9 points against the #1 seed. She also scored the most points of all the 1A girls with 49.

Wowsa in Wapello!!! I’m telling you there is a freight train coming down the tracks with this team and the future is looking pretty bright. Kiersyn placed 2nd, had 1 pin and qualified for state! Grace placed 3rd with 1 pin and a tech fall. Rylee also placed 3rd with 3 pins. Rylee and Grace both fought hard and had wrestle backs. Michaela and Chloe both had 1 pin. Get your State shirts ordered by 2/1.
