The team got to enjoy a little ACC tournament baseball action! A lot of fun and it was a great day for baseball!

Reminder*****Good opportunity for young and older guys!

It’s that time of year again folks! Kids Camp starts on June 10th-11th, 9am-12pm! Last years camp was a huge hit and a blast for all involved! All players will receive a camp t-shirt. It’s also on the same day as our softball programs camp. So, if brother has a sister bring them out too! Grades start at 1st-8th graders. We’re super excited and hope for a big turn out!

***All signup forms should be turned in on the day of camp or dropped off at the school to Coach Severt with payment. Cash/Checks are payable to ‘West Caldwell Baseball.’

Attention: We will be playing in an instructional league hosted by Maiden High School. All current players and rising 9th graders are invited if they have intentions on playing at West Caldwell next year. This is a great opportunity for guys to get reps and get better. Pending on how many guys signup, there could be a cut, which is expected. Parent meeting will be held May 18th at West Caldwell 6pm in the cafeteria. Practice will be held the following day. All games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Two 5-inning games per scheduled game. Come on out and take part in the West Caldwell baseball program. Looking forward to a great summer!

Congratulations to Joshton Blankenship and Landon Martin for making the All-Tournament team in the 8-mile Classic Spring Tournament hosted by Lincolnton and West Lincoln High Schools. Joshton tallied 4 hits, 2 doubles, a pair of walks, 5 stolen bases, and a solo homer giving him his 5th of the year! Landon tallied 4 hits including 2 doubles, 4 stolen bases, and threw out two guys from behind the plate! The Warriors finished 4th overall playing in two tight games and a win to finish the tournament. The guys have really been busting their tails and competing. Come out Tuesday at 6:00 as we face conference opponent Draughn. And, don’t forget, it’s kids night! All kids 12 and under get in free and get to go to their favorite position during the National Anthem.

The Warriors came out to play tonight beating Langtree Charter Academy 8-1! Rylee Story went the distance on the mound only allowing 1 run off of 2 hits with 8 strikeouts. Landon Martin, Payton Cox, Joshton Blankenship, Mason Davis, Deegan Crisp all added hits with Mason Crisp leading the pack with 2 hits. The Warriors will play again tomorrow night at West Lincoln High School against the winner of West Lincoln and Grace Academy @7:30.
