Just a reminder that we are collecting pre-packaged snack foods for our first responders this week. There will be a collection box in the front lobby area. Students are invited to wear red, white, and blue (or Scout uniforms) for Friday morning's 9/11 Remembrance Service and First Responder Appreciation. Thanks!

This morning we celebrated the retirement of our wonderful secretary, Mrs. Barrell. She will be missed, but we are so happy for her. Congratulations!

We had a wonderful first day of school here at GES! It was great to see and feel all of the first day of school excitement buzzing through the building. It’s going to be a fantastic year of learning!! 🍎

🚌🎒 WELCOME BACK, COUGARS! 🐾🍎

The countdown is almost over! KASD is excited to welcome our students back for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 25! 📚✏️

A brand-new school year means fresh starts, new friendships, exciting opportunities, inspiring classrooms, and plenty of Cougar pride! We can’t wait to see our hallways and classrooms filled once again with the energy and excitement of our students and staff.

A huge thank you to our teachers, administrators, and staff who have been working hard all summer to make the start of another great school year possible.

Let’s make the 2026–2027 school year one to remember! Here’s to learning, growing, making memories, reaching new goals, and having some COUGAR fun along the way!🐾
