👋🏻 Hello, Lenexa Hills!
What a great first FULL week of school! Students are getting settled into our routines an expectations here at Lenexa Hills, and it is so fun to watch each classroom community start becoming a true school family. 🫶
We started our benchmark testing this week in with Reading Acadience testing. This coming week students in Grades 1-6 will take our iReady Math Diagnostic Assessment, and the following week Grade 1-6 students will take the MAP Reading Assessment. The data we gather from these beginning of the year assessments helps up determine what our students already know, and paint a picture of what they are ready to learn next. The data also drives our building-wide Wildly Important Goals (WIGs), and allows our teacher teams to set purposeful, intentional, data-driven goals. 🎯
