Congratulations to Tom Amelio on his retirement. Tom started with us 19 years ago and will truly be missed. We are excited for you and this new chapter. You have made it to the finish line! Tom was the Forman on many projects in the Fox Valley/Rockford area. This trade is not easy and Tom kept us laughing with his good spirit and sense of humor even on those toughest days. He takes with him a truly unique ability being a Forman who could construct any size commercial project but still was one of a dying breed who can craft a FULL masonry fireplace which is no longer taught in the trades. I once heard someone say “The boss has a title but a leader has the people.” Tom you are a true leader! Tom never asked for recognition but every guy at this company respected and appreciated him! Thank you and good luck my friend.

A few more days to help out a great cause. Men’s health is often overlooked in our industry. It’s time to change that. Forman Don Goad along with the rest of our team welcomes new apprentice Andrew Love to BMI on his first day on the job. He had his pre job apprenticeship promotion on Friday. He laid brick on Monday and Tuesday he’s slamming in the block. He’s going to do great.
