Angie's Option GRM Angie's Option GRM offers free classes that provide exposure to education on altered food, supplemen

Since 2004 Angie's Option, Inc GRM has been dedicated to providing educational classes in communities all over North America and in Europe. We teach a class geared for the general public which overviews how the very foundation of our food has been altered, "What's natural about being synthetic?" as it has to do with vitamins and minerals and how to know what's utilized by your body verses what's e

ither just a waste of money or what actually could be harming you. And lastly, an overview of a field of science called, Glycobiology...what it has to do with a properly functioning immune system. We also teach an advanced class geared towards healthcare professionals which is a springboard to CME courses. We are the founders of a grassroots movement with volunteers in communities all over North America and in Europe. We work to empower others through strictly educational classes to make decisions for their own health and wellness based on education not the marketing hype and sometimes blatant marketing deception so prevalent in the wellness industry today.

"Immune system regulation, cell-to-cell communication and identification, and almost all biologic functions depend upon these sugars." (p. 94)

Sometimes the biggest discoveries are the ones most people have never heard about.

If so many biological functions depend on these sugars, why isn't this discussed more often?

This quote is only the beginning. Explore the complete book here:

"Our immune system knows how to get rid of cancer. It does it every day of our lives until one day it begins to miscommunicate, and we get a diagnosis 5 to 30 years later." (p. 90)

Our bodies are working for us every moment of every day in ways we rarely think about.

What if understanding how our cells communicate could change the way we think about long-term health and wellness?

Interested in learning more? Start with the book:

Does learning how the immune system functions make you want to understand more about how the body works?

What if one of the most common ingredients in processed foods is doing more than adding sweetness?

A recent study published in Nature found that fructose may help fuel tumor growth—not by feeding cancer cells directly, but by triggering changes in the liver that create compounds cancer cells can use to grow and build new cell membranes.

High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which became widespread in the food supply over the last several decades, has also been linked to fatty liver disease, insulin resistance, diabetes, heart disease, and increased cancer risk in multiple studies.

The good news? One of the most effective ways to reduce your exposure is also one of the simplest: limit highly processed foods and focus on whole, nutrient-dense choices.

The foods we eat every day can have a profound impact on long-term health.

How often do you check food labels for high-fructose corn syrup or other added sugars?

"The sugars surrounding every cell in the human body are very much like the vowels of the alphabet. ...These sugars...turn out to be a key player in the immune system's ability to prevent or fight disease." (p. 89)

Without vowels, words lose their meaning. According to glycobiology, the same may be true for the sugars that surround our cells.

There's an entire language of communication happening inside your body that most of us were never taught.

"Most of us know that too much sugar is bad and causes lots of problems. But, there are good sugars that surround every single cell in the human body. In fact, they surround every animal cell, every plant cell, and every bacteria and virus too. Without these sugars, life could not exist." (p. 89)

When most people hear the word "sugar," they immediately think of something to avoid. But biology tells a much more fascinating story.

What if some sugars aren't the problem at all—but are actually essential for life itself?

Discover more about the science of glycobiology through our educational articles, podcast episodes, and resources at Angie's Option GRM.

Most people know Epsom salt as a simple remedy for sore muscles, but its uses go far beyond a relaxing bath.

From helping plants thrive in the garden to easing splinters, adding volume to hair, and even cleaning tile and grout, this inexpensive household staple has been used for generations.

One important reminder: Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate—not the same as refined table salt. When it comes to seasoning food, choose real, unrefined salt instead of highly processed varieties.

Sometimes the simplest remedies are the ones that stand the test of time.

Have you ever used Epsom salt for something other than a bath? Share your favorite use in the comments!
