My room was filled with sticky notes and balloons when I got back from camp last week! I felt very loved and will miss little things like this when I am in Ohio. (Thank you to my class for helping clean up the mess the following Monday!)

This class really enjoyed spending time observing nature in our very own "wetland' area. Or maybe they just enjoyed being outside and away from their desk! Either way, it was another experience that made this year special!

Camp Crosley 2015 was a blast. Here are just a few photos of the fun we had. Canoeing, wetland hike, giant swing, climbing tower, egg drop competition, and so much more! I really enjoyed spending time with everyone outside of the classroom. Camp will be one of the things I miss the most about leaving Leesburg.

Titanic Day 2015. We enjoyed a morning being divided into classes to "experience" a taste of what it was like to be on the Titanic. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes were treated accordingly, but by the end of the day, we were all one class again...a sweet and wonderful class!

This Friday, we decided to build community in our classroom by having our own "Crazy Hair Day." We also got to enjoy a little time outside as the weather was great for a 2nd Friday in a row. :-)

This week, we decided to have a "Sunshine Friday" and wore bright yellows and oranges to be sunny! We must have made an impact on the real sun, because he decided to come out and make a beautiful day! We spent time enjoying the wonderful day by taking a nature hike through our trails at Leesburg!

Sunshine Day is tomorrow for our class. Students are encouraged to wear yellows and oranges! Yes, a flower in the hair would be a nice touch!
