🍂 A little fall update from Wit & Whimsy

If you’ve been following along with our fall plans, you may have noticed a few changes to our calendar.

Some unexpected family circumstances have required me to scale back our fall schedule a bit, including postponing some of our planned Discovery Days and Curiosity Circles. While it’s always hard to take something off the calendar that I was excited to offer, I also want every Wit & Whimsy experience to have the time, energy, and creativity it deserves.

That means our fall calendar will be a little smaller than originally planned but there is still plenty of whimsy ahead! ✨

As part of that shift, Candy Town will be moving from our November calendar to summer 2027. 🍭 And honestly, I’m excited about what that means for Candy Town! With a little more time and room to grow, we’ll be able to turn it into an even bigger summer experience.

Thank you so much for your flexibility, encouragement, and enthusiasm for this little learning community. Sometimes plans shift but the ideas certainly aren’t going anywhere. 💫

🎉 A LITTLE BIRTHDAY REFLECTION...

Today happens to be my birthday, and this one feels a little different.

It's my first birthday as the owner of Wit & Whimsy Learning Studios.

This time last year, this little business didn't exist. And now I get to look back at a summer filled with kids creating, experimenting, imagining, solving problems, making new friends, taking risks, laughing — and learning in ways that don't always look like “learning.”

There have been a whole lot of ideas, late nights, bins of supplies, things that didn't go according to plan, and moments that turned out even better than I imagined.

But more than anything, there has been so much to be grateful for.

For the families who trusted something brand new.
For the kids who walked through our doors ready to see what we had dreamed up for them.
For the people who shared a post, told a friend, encouraged an idea, lent a hand, or simply cheered this little business on.

What a gift it has been to watch Wit & Whimsy begin to grow.

So today, I'm celebrating another trip around the sun — and feeling incredibly grateful that this year included the beginning of something I've dreamed about for a very long time.

Here's to another year of curiosity, discovery, and a little bit of whimsy along the way. ✨

🍂 Before fall flies by, let's make a plan to actually enjoy it.

We make summer bucket lists.

But what about fall?

Instead of reaching December and wondering where did the season go?, gather your family and choose just FOUR things you'd love to do together this fall.

Nothing elaborate required.

🍎 Pick apples
🥾 Take a fall hike
🎃 Carve pumpkins
🔥 Have a backyard fire
🍪 Bake something together
🍁 Take a drive to see the leaves
🎬 Have a cozy family movie night

Or come up with four completely your own.

Write them down. Put them on the refrigerator. And when the calendar starts getting packed with all the have-to-dos, make a little room for the want-to-dos, too.

Because maybe the goal isn't to make the seasons slow down.

Maybe it's to make sure we notice them while they're here. 🍂✨
