Congratulations to SCA 2025 graduate, Stevie McCanse!

Stevie is competing for National American Miss Missouri! The competition will be July 31-August 2, and the top five receive a significant scholarship and are eligible to compete at Nationals!

Stevie is attending Evangel University where she is double majoring in Health Sciences and Nursing.

Dear SCA Community,

We want to share the following information regarding the funeral services for Mr. Schwab.

A visitation will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st from 4:30–7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM at St. Peter & All Saints Episcopal Church (100 E. Red Bridge Road, Kansas City, MO 64114).

We know many in our community will want to attend and honor Mr. Schwab’s life. Please note that seating inside the church is limited to approximately 200 people. To ensure everyone who wishes to participate has the opportunity to do so, in the comments below is a livestream link. Additionally, for those who would like to gather together, we will be streaming the service in the secondary gym at 7:00pm for our SCA family.

If you plan to attend in person, we kindly ask that you carpool if possible, as parking is limited.

For those who would like to participate in a small tribute in his memory, a meaningful and fun way to honor Mr. Schwab is to wear a turtleneck and blazer, an outfit that reflects his distinctive style. Anyone in Scouts who is part of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say is encouraged to wear your claws.

We continue to lift up his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him in our prayers.
