The car wash ticket presale competition is slowly picking up the pace. The sophomores are currently in the lead with 16% of their tickets sold.

AP Drawing students have been working collaboratively this week to dive into the AP Art rubrics. They analyzed and annotated example portfolios based on the rubric criteria. Our student verdicts were very consistent with the scores and rationales given by AP Readers!

🫧The Annual LSA Car Wash Returns🫧

🎟️ Student Ticket Info & Reward Party Criteria:
All LSA students should have received their $5 presale tickets. Remember: selling all 5 of your tickets is one of the required criteria to qualify for the LSA Reward Party this December!

🗓️ Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Location: Advance Auto Parts, Crystal River
💰 Cost: $5 Presale Tickets (or pay at the event!)
Students will be collaborating in teams to wash cars for the arts! Every dollar raised goes toward funding the Senior Art Show and supporting our LSA program.

🌭Post-Wash Celebration
Once the Car Wash is complete, students are invited to meet up at Hunter Springs for our LSA picnic! Check to see which items your grade level may contribute to the lunch.

Congratulations to both of the recipients of the Rainbow Springs Art in Dunnellon student scholarship! This evening we celebrated our IB LSA grad, Eve Chastek, and checked out the beautiful work of local artists in the gallery.

Thank you so much to Rainbow Springs Art in Dunnellon for supporting budding artists and providing this opportunity for the students!
