Fun classes this week! Another cute bucket hat () and a super swingy, long split skirt just about finished. One other student is making her biggest and bestest candy bag for treat gathering next month!

We’re having some issues with our Facebook account that we’re hoping to have sorted out soon. If this page takes flight, we’ll hopefully have a new one to take its place very soon.

I think you’ll enjoy seeing what our Sewing Class has been up to lately. We’ve been using different variations and sizes of a pattern from Love Notions (sloth dress, earth tank top, and lemon tunic) and are so pleased with how they’re turning out! We’ve also made some reversible “bucket” hats (from Sweet Red Poppy) and a few more burrito pillowcases. Let me know if you’re ready to start sewing.

Hidden Art from 1st Friday in downtown Lebanon. So much fun!!!

Biz Expo happened on a warm day this year but the steady breeze made it tolerable. Lots of great businesses and nonprofits on display. Thanks to everybody who stopped by our booth and congratulations to Russell G. for winning our door prize! He took home some Berkey’s blueberry products, Midnight Oil Farms soap, a Gift Certificate for a class at R Place, and some other goodies!

Here’s the butterfly “mama” painted in Art Class. Looks like 2 talented girls in that family!

One of our Sewing students models her newly finished knit tank top. She learned how to use a serger while working with knits on this project. Super nice job!

Painted butterflies in Art Class at R Place Maker Space & Gifts today! This almost 5yr old surprised us all with her talent!!!

Students have been working on some beginning quilt projects the last few weeks. One finished her first “9-patch” doll quilt and another has discovered the fun of “quilt as you go” with a 2-sided potholder. Super nice job ladies!!! No sewing this week as I’m helping with some projects at home but will be back to sewing on the 27th!
