🌟 ME, MYSELF, & I — CELEBRATING WHO WE ARE! 🌟
This month at Burke’s Academy, our curriculum has been all about helping our children discover and celebrate WHO THEY ARE! 💛
Through fun, hands-on learning experiences, our children have been exploring their individual selves, body parts, similarities and differences, diversity, and self-affirmation. 🧒🏽👧🏼👦🏾
✨ We’ve been learning:�💗 What makes each of us special and unique�🖐️ All about our amazing bodies and what they can do�👀 How we are alike AND different�🌎 How to appreciate and celebrate diversity�💪🏽 Positive self-affirmations and building confidence�🎨 Creative projects that allow children to express their individuality
And of course, learning at Burke’s Academy isn’t just about what happens inside the classroom! 🌈
💦 OUR LAST WATER DAY OF SUMMER!�We made the most of our final Water Day with plenty of splashing, laughter, smiles, and enjoyed an inflatable water slide!☀️💦
🎉 SPIRIT WEEK!�Our center was full of school spirit, creativity, fun outfits, and BIG smiles as our children and teachers celebrated together! 💙
👨👩👧👦 FAMILY-INVOLVED PROJECTS!�We also brought our families into the learning experience with special projects designed for the WHOLE CENTER! Our families helped us celebrate each child’s uniqueness while strengthening the connection between home and school. ❤️
