UPDATE: The owner has been located. Thanks to everyone for their help!

FOUND: SADDLE & SADDLE PAD

The Saint Joseph Police Department is attempting to locate the owner of a saddle and saddle pad recently found in a wooded area near the horse rink at Saint Joseph City Park.

The items were discovered by two gentlemen who regularly spend time in our park. Rather than leaving them behind, they took the time to report the property to the City so we could help return it to its rightful owner. We sincerely appreciate them for looking out for our community and our parks.

To help verify ownership, photographs and identifying details of the saddle and saddle pad are intentionally not being released. Anyone claiming the items will be asked to provide an accurate description.

If you believe these items belong to you, or if you know who the owner may be, please contact Saint Joseph City Hall at 931-845-4141.

Our parks belong to the entire community, and we are grateful for the residents and visitors who help keep an eye out for one another and take pride in Saint Joseph.

🚨🚨 LCSC MAKE-UP HORSE SHOW TOMORROW!🚨🚨
*****7/25 postponed show Rescheduled for tomorrow, SATURDAY, 8/15*****

Saturday, 8/15 at 5:00pm, we will host our makeup show at St. Joe Bridle and Saddle Club from the postposed show on July 25th. We're looking forward to seeing everyone in attendance. Classes for quarter, gaited, and running horses and riders of all ages!! Concessions will be available and the food is good! Please help support them and buy food at the show. 🙂

Reminder: We need workers to help work the show!

Also, it’s obviously very hot so please don’t forget to bring your horses water! The water lines around the arena are not always on so make plans to bring your own water and buckets.

🚨JULY 25th HORSE SHOW POSTPONED to August 15th🚨

Unfortunately due to weather forecast and current flooded arena conditions from this mornings rain, we must postpone today’s July 25th show to our next rain date of August 15th.

Our priority is to provide a fun and safe event. The amount of rain we have gotten makes the arena unusable as is without adequate drying time. Hopefully conditions on August 15th will be better.

Everyone please be safe as there are still storms on the radar that will be moving through today.

It’s SHOW TIME!! LCSC Horse Show - TODAY (7/11) at St Joe. Bridle and Saddle Club at 10 Park Drive, St Joseph TN.

- Quarter, Gaited, and Running Classes Available

We know there is concern for pop up showers today. We are watching the weather constantly but we are going to continue to have the show!

***🚨Patchy storms means changeable weather so we are going to have to be flexible during our show if need be. Meaning, we need to have the classes run as efficiently/smoothly as possible in case we have to pause for a quick shower.
Unfortunately, these are the cards we are being dealt, so let’s make the most of it and get the show in!
***🚨Prep your folks! Tell them there will NOT be any “holding the gate”.. we need to get this show in and holding the gate makes for a very slow show. Be prepared, if you need a horse or tack change please have the horse or tack ready at the gate to swap quickly! Friends/family HELP your riders make this possible.
***🚨Volunteers! We need show volunteers READY to do your job and help move this show along! When your ready to work it makes a huge difference. Volunteer whether you have your hours or not, it helps the show and volunteers are the reason we are able to have shows. No volunteers, no shows! If you feel you shouldn’t have to work then this is not the club for you. It takes a village, not just 5-6 of the same people!
***🚨The arena is currently in great condition, both track and dirt, so we felt there was not a definitive reason to cancel as the weather prediction for today has continued to be ever changing. When that is the case we will always try to move forward and have the show.
***🚨Your safety is our number one priority! In the event we do have a pop up shower today or tonight please assess the grounds and always show at your own risk.

🚨JUNE 13th HORSE SHOW POSTPONED 🚨

We hate to be the bearers of bad news—but due to the current arena conditions from previous and today’s rain we must postpone tomorrow’s June 13 show to a dryer day.

Our priority is to provide a fun and safe event. The current amount of standing water in the arena does not allow us to be confident that our arena footing will meet our safety standards. The potential for it to dry out in less than 24 hours is too low to count on. Also, unfortunately there was some wash out to our arena track today that will need to be repaired.

We hope this early notice will help to not inconvenience anyone.
