☀️💦 Field Day Fun at WSE! 💦☀️

What an incredible day of fun, laughter, and Wildcat spirit at Field Day! Our students had a blast rotating through inflatables, obstacle courses, races, and water activities—there was something for everyone to enjoy! 🎉🏃‍♂️

One of the highlights of the day was seeing our very own school marshal, Mr. Kendrick, join in on the fun and show off some impressive dance moves—he definitely brought the energy! 💃🕺

A huge thank you to Coach Saavedra and Coach Gonzales for organizing such a fantastic event, and to our amazing volunteers who gave their time to help run stations and keep the day running smoothly. We are so grateful for our supportive community—what a great way to make lasting memories together! ❤️🐾

🥁 What an Incredible Day of Drumming at Whitestone! 🥁

Today our Wildcats experienced the excitement and energy of a Day of Drumming assembly! Students learned about the different materials used to create drums and discovered how sound changes depending on how and where you play. The best part? Every Wildcat had the chance to play their own drum and create different musical beats together!

The joy, rhythm, and teamwork filled our gym today! 🎶

💙 Spread Kindness, One Pair at a Time! 💙

In celebration of our upcoming Kindness Week, the Whitestone PTA is hosting a Socks & Underwear Drive to support the LISD Council of PTAs Clothes Closet, which serves students living within Leander ISD boundaries.

We are collecting NEW socks and underwear, which can be dropped off in the PTA donation bin located in the reception area at the main entrance of the school. Donations will be accepted Monday, February 9 through Wednesday, February 11.

Prefer to donate online? Contributions can also be made directly through the Clothes Closet’s Amazon and Target wish lists. To learn more about the Clothes Closet—including hours of operation, additional donation needs, and volunteer opportunities—please visit their website.

We loved celebrating the 100th and 101st days of school with our youngest Wildcats! 🎉🐾

Kindergarten students showed off shirts filled with 100 items, while our first graders stole the show dressed as Dalmatians with 101 spots 🐶🤍. The highlight was cheering them on during a special hallway parade filled with smiles, pride, and learning fun.

It’s been an amazing 101 days of learning, and we can’t wait for all the exciting moments still ahead! 📚✨

✨🎅 Santa came to Whitestone today! 🎅✨

We had a very special surprise visitor join us for our Winter Parties—Santa himself! Our Wildcats were absolutely delighted to see him and share in the holiday magic together. ❤️❄️
