Please help us welcome Michael Haynes as our new assistant band director at Leander MS! 🎶

Mr. Haynes is a tuba player with years of experience both teaching middle school band and euphonium/tuba private lessons. We are so excited that he will be joining the Tiger Band family!!

A HUGE congratulations to our very own LMS Honors Band on their invitation to perform at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic!!!! We are so SO proud of our fantastic students on this gigantic accomplishment. 🩵 They were one of only five middle school bands selected to perform from across the country! Way to go, LMS Band!!!!!

We are thrilled to announce that the Leander Middle School Honors Band just received FIRST PLACE at the CC Honor Band Region Contest today! We submitted their UIL performance recording from this year, and we are so proud of the work they did on this challenging music. This means that their recording will advance to the Area contest later this month. Congratulations, students!!
