Weโre hiring an additional Clarinet Private Lesson Teacher!
The band program at Wiley Middle School is looking for an enthusiastic clarinet private lesson teacher with availability to teach 20+ students each week before, during, and after school hours.
Our students range from beginner through 3rd-year players, and we are looking for someone who loves building and refining strong fundamentals, which is a core value of our program.
Our program has a strong home practice culture, and students are committed to improving. Weโre looking for a teacher who brings enthusiasm, energy, and a passion for fundamentals to help our students reach their potential!
Our program feeds directly into the outstanding band program at Rouse High School, and ideally we would love for this teacher to continue teaching their students as they progress into high school.
Please share!
If youโre interested, or know someone who would be a great fit, please reach out to Rachel Johnstone

We are so excited to have McKenna Babcock join our Wiley Band family!
As many of you know, Mrs. Davidson welcomed her sweet baby girl earlier this year and will be staying home with her family next year. We are so grateful for all she has poured into our program and know you will join us in welcoming Ms. Babcock to the Wiley Band team!
Ms. Babcock graduated summa cm laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music Education in May 2025. She completed her student teaching and taught in the DFW area, where her students earned a Sweepstake rating at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading. While at Baylor, she performed in top ensembles, held leadership roles, taught private lessons, and gained valuable experience through camps and internships. She is passionate about inclusive, student-centered teaching and inspiring a lifelong love of music.
In addition to teaching and playing the French Horn, Ms. Babcock enjoys singing, running, and spending time with friends and family. She is grateful and excited to be part of the Leander ISD family!
Welcome to Wiley Band, Ms. Babcock! ๐ถ
