Today we held our 10th and final All Pro Dad meeting of the 2024/2025 school year. Our topic was "trustworthiness"

We had 182 total attendees between Dad's and kids for our 10 meetings this year. Thank you for showing up for your children!

The topic will be "trustworthiness.” Being trustworthy means proving that your word is good—you do what you say you’re going to do, you are honest, and you are consistent. When you have trustworthiness, other people know they can count on you.

This week we held our 9th All Pro Dad meeting of the 2024-2025 school year. Our topic was empathy. We talked about how we can understand and read emotions of others and different types of care we can give them. We also had good discussion on how we want empathy shown towards us in our times of sadness.

The morning got started with a unique twist on an Easter egg hunt, with "East Egg Matching." The kids hid Easter Egg halves around the room and then all Dads and Kids had to work together to find the other half and put them back together! We watched a clip from Inside Out and played a game of "emotion charades.

Our final meeting is on May 13 from 7:00-8:00am. If you have not joined for us for one yet this year, please consider coming!

This week we held our 8th All Pro Dad meeting of the 2024-2025 school year. Our topic was diligence. None of the kids were actually familiar with the word diligence, but we talked about being prepared ahead of time, focusing on details, and working hard to accomplish goals.

The morning got started with folding paper airplanes and having a contest for flying distance down the hallway and another for accuracy, taking aim at the All Pro Dad sign. And of course Breakfast together and students in school being able to see Dad's in the hallway walking their child to the classroom!

Our remaining meetings are on Tuesdays April 15 and May 13 from 7:00-8:00am. If you have not joined for us for one yet this year, please consider coming!

Yesterday we held our seventh All Pro Dad meeting of the 2024-2025 school year. Our topic was social skills.

We played a game of "Human Bingo" which required the kids and adults to interact with each other and learn something new about each person in attendance. We did an activity focusing on the importance of eye contact while we are having conversations. Monsters Inc. provided us with a movie clip on how to manage our emotions when talking with others. And of course Breakfast together and students in school being able to see Dad's in the hallway walking their child to the classroom!

This morning we held our sixth All Pro Dad meeting of the 2024-2025 school year. Our topic was self discipline. We played the Donut on a String game, did a worksheet focusing on how we can sprinkle kindness to others, and discussed how we can have self discipline towards achieving goals in our own lives. We ended with breakfast together and walking our children to their classrooms.
