Whew! What a week! The MHS Library team started the week handing out Chromebooks to all of the 9th graders and completing a short orientation about their devices. We also ordered and received books, had some classes in for checkouts, and watched students make music, play games, and get to know each other with discussion questions. Mrs. Barnes taught our interns how to process books and we voted on our favorite chewy red candy!

After loads of hard work, we handed out 9th grade Chromebooks today! Thanks to Mrs. Arellano for informing us about device expectations! If you are a freshman and missed today OR if you are a new student, come by the library to get your Chromebook.

Week 2 of summer programming was fantastic. We created with beads, decorated hats, painted, worked on a new puzzle, and had a mini debate with the debate students. Fun! Come join us Monday - Thursday (except this Thursday) from 9-12! Breakfast is served at 8:30 and lunch is served around noon.

What a week we had at high school summer programming! We painted, created bead art, played games, finished puzzles, participated in speech and debate, and competed in archery! It’s not too late to join us! Summer programs run from 8:30-12:30 on Mondays - Thursdays and breakfast and lunch are provided!

For the month of May, we displayed a Missing Man table to honor our fallen Highlanders and all of those who lost their lives for our freedom. Many students and faculty commented on this area. Thanks to Mrs. Barnes for putting all of this together. ❤️🤍💙
