The LRC would not function without our buses and bus drivers. And our bus drivers have mentioned how thankful they are for their transportation supervisor, Mr. Lewis! When they are down a driver, he helps by picking up their route. According to the drivers who shuttle our students to and from the LRC, he continues to go above and beyond for his people. That is something that deserves recognition.

Thank you for being so awesome, Mr. Michael Lewis! We at the LRC appreciate you!

Here's an update from Mrs. Rooney to start your day:

"Six of our leaders attended TSA LEAD conference yesterday. We all had a great time, and five of them earned their Statesman pin! These students memorized TSA’s motto, creed, colors and their meanings, and the names and positions of the six state officers. We also got third place in the cardboard dragster event. We’re so proud of these students for representing LPS so beautifully today."

So proud of these awesome students and their awesome teacher!

Here's an Agriculture Mechanics update from Mr. New in the welding shop: The students have passed their safety test! Yay! Now the fun work begins. The class's first project is a bead bed. Neat!

Congrats on passing your test, Ag students!
