Ｐｌａｎｎｉｎｇ Ａｈｅａｄ📆

Good morning, Vikings! Here’s what’s happening in Viking Country over the next few days, along with a few friendly reminders for students and families:

▪ TerraNova testing scores from this past school year will be sent home with students today. Please make sure the form within the envelope is returned signed.

▪ The 2026 Viking Vault Back to School Online store will close on Thursday (8/27) at 11:59 PM. Once the Back to School store closes, no orders can be processed online until the next online store opens. Orders will be delivered to school two weeks after the store closes. Please check out the link via the school website or via social media.

▪ The Varsity Football game from last Thursday against Life Christian, which was called due to weather & lightning, will resume this evening at 6 PM at home on the Dennis A. Moore football field. As per Mrs. Coley, you will NOT have to pay admission to get in for the remainder of the game this evening.

▪ All students in grades 6th–12th who are interested in Cross Country are invited to attend a combination practice & tryout tomorrow, Tuesday, 8/25 at 3 PM on the softball field.

▪️Senior First Grade March is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, August 21st at 9:00 AM in the gym.

Last Friday, our Varsity Football team opened its season against Cary Christian. Although the night didn’t end the way our Vikings had hoped, we are proud of their effort & determination on the field. Here are a few photos from the season opener! 🏈

The Vikings return to action tomorrow night at home against Life Christian. Please note this important schedule change due to inclement weather in the forecast:

First Day of School photos will be shared tomorrow, but today we’re celebrating the Brunswick Academy Class of 2027 & their LAST first day of school! This special group kicked off their senior year yesterday by gathering bright & early on the football field for a “Senior Sunrise.”

Seniors, we wish you nothing but the best as you begin your final year at BA. Cherish every moment & make memories that will last a lifetime!
