Thank you to our families, staff, and community for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We know there have been a lot of questions and changes along the way, and we truly appreciate everyone working with us.

📣 CUSD #20 IS HIRING SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS! 🚌

CUSD #20 is currently seeking dependable, safety-minded individuals to join our transportation team and help safely transport our students each day.

📍 NEW THIS YEAR — BUSRIGHT!
CUSD #20 now uses BusRight, a driver-friendly routing and navigation system. Each bus is equipped with a securely mounted tablet that provides the assigned route, student stops, and spoken turn-by-turn directions so drivers do not have to look down or handle the device while driving. The system is designed to assist drivers while allowing them to keep their attention where it belongs — on the road and the students they are transporting.

ILLINOIS SCHOOL BUS DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with an “S” endorsement, or willingness to obtain one
• Pass required written and driving examinations
• Complete required physical, drug screening, background check, and state-required training
• Permits are renewed annually and require updated training, drug screening, TB skin test, and physical
