We were honored to welcome Secretary of Education Dr. Stephen Zrike, Commissioner of Early Education and Care Amy Kershaw, Receiver and Deputy Commissioner of Lawrence Public Schools Lauren Woo, and Associate Commissioner of Massachusetts Charter Schools Alison Bagg to The Community Group and Community Day Charter Public School!
During their visit, our guests had the opportunity to learn more about our child care program at our Early Learning Center and visit the classrooms of our youngest learners at CDCPS’s Gateway ELC and Webster ELC campuses. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the work of our dedicated educators and staff and highlight the importance of integrating learning and play as we guide all of our students toward the North Star.
We are grateful for the time our guests spent with in our classrooms and for the opportunity to give them a closer look at our programs. We are equally grateful for our dedicated educators who make our programs welcoming, supportive spaces where families can feel confident and young children can thrive.
