Here's a good Halloween info post from Framingham on candy wrappers
This Halloween we'd like to remind trick-or-treaters that candy wrappers belong in the trash. We find a lot of plastic bags and thin-film candy wrappers in the recycling bin, and while the thought is nice, they do not belong there.
Thin film bags and plastic wrappers are easily caught in the machinery that sorts recyclables.
