They are my reward, they are my responsibility, they are my reason to keep striving. Being father is truly the best thing ever! Salute to all the fathers doing it right, being present, being involved, being committed, depositing wisdom, love, compassion, integrity, endurance, perseverance and humility. To the fathers who work hard to provide not just the monetary but also the memories, to the fathers who set the standard of what a man is for their sons and daughters. To the fathers who take on the role for kids that are not of their blood, but simply want to be a difference in a child’s life, I salute you.

Our world needs good fathers, the numbers are clear of the impact that fathers have in the home when present and engaged. Less child depression, less su***de, less drug addiction, less criminal behavior, less failing out of school, less violent behavior, fathers are essential.

Laying with a woman and a child coming doesn’t make you a father. Taking the time to raise a child in the way they should go, makes you a father.

These moments mean the world to me. This is such a powerful moment, when someone makes a decision to publicly proclaim the new life they now walk in with Christ. Lives restored, lives healed, this is what it’s all about

Still trips me out that this was a real chapter in my life. I will treasure the memories, the brotherhood and the maturity I received from my time serving.

Few shots from todays Resurrection Sunday Dominic had his first go being part of the choir, I’m so proud of him for taking that first step in what he loves to do. Thankful for our church community, community is our blessings. Thank you Jesus for your resurrecting power that lives in us each and everyday. You gives us power to carry our cross daily, to endure the challenges that we face and tear down strongholds of the evil one. Thank you Lord!

Finally got my together! Did some training tonight with the vest and belt on. I’m very particular about my gear, I don’t like to get stuff that’s not gonna last. The gear I get for airsoft is gear I’d use to fight with in a real world scenario. Even my guns are close to guns I actually have. Airsoft is a lot of fun, but it’s also a helpful training tool, no other place can you get that kind of force on force and have the action of the guns in airsoft work similarly.
