Our CNC Machinist Apprentices are headed back to school at North Georgia Technical College.

Through our apprenticeship program, they attend classes while continuing to work alongside our team, putting what they learn into practice on the production floor.

This year, we’re especially excited to welcome six new CNC Machinist Apprentices to the team.

We’re looking forward to seeing what they accomplish this school year!

Today, on National Intern Day, we're recognizing Molly and the work she completed during her summer internship.

Molly is a Mechanical Engineering student at Clemson University pursuing a Technical German minor. This summer, she worked with our Technology Management team on a project to support a process improvement within our production facility, giving her the opportunity to apply what she's learned in the classroom to a real manufacturing environment.

We're grateful for the work she put in over the summer and are always glad to give students the chance to gain meaningful, hands-on experience with our team.

We were honored to be an inaugural partner of the Hart County Schools Educator Externship Program.

Six teachers from Hart County Schools spent a day here at Haering Precision getting a firsthand look at what their students could be doing one day.

Each one was paired with someone on our team whose work connects directly to what they teach.

We are glad to have been part of this program from the start and hope they left with something useful to bring back to their classrooms.

We enjoyed partcipating in Hart College and Career Academy´s Industry Signing Day for the second year in a row. This event highlights all students who have chosen to enter the workforce after graduation, either directly or through an apprenticeship or further training program.

Industry participation in our schools is key to ensuring the future workforce pipeline for the manufacturing industry.

March and April were focused on connecting with local schools and community partners, including Hart County Schools, Franklin County High School, Banks County High School, Elbert County High School, and Stephens County High School, along with North Georgia Technical College.

Rounding out National Apprenticeship Week, we’re recognizing four associates who recently completed our Quality Control Technician Apprenticeship in partnership with North Georgia Technical College and Workforce Strategies Group LLC.

As part of the two year program, each apprentice led a capstone project focused on continuous improvement within their work area. All four successfully implemented projects across our production and quality departments, delivering immediate impact on our operations.

Congratulations to our graduates. We’re looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow and contribute.

For National Apprenticeship Week, we’re highlighting Jeremiah, who recently completed our CNC Machinist Apprenticeship Program with North Georgia Technical College.

In his words, “the apprenticeship program gave me a career and opportunities I never would have had.”

Jeremiah is now continuing his career with us in the Production Maintenance department.
