Volunteer Event with Touro Mobile Clinic🩺🚑

Today, our members had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Touro’s Mobile Clinic alongside PA and medical students. From translating for Spanish-speaking patients to helping measure vital signs, our members gained valuable hands-on experience while serving the community.

This event not only allowed our members to develop clinical skills, but also highlighted the importance of increasing Latino representation in healthcare and improving access to care for underserved populations.

Hello, LPMSA! We hope you’re enjoying your summer break! ☀️

Several of our members have the exciting opportunity to participate in the Summer Anatomy Seminar hosted by throughout the month of June. Today, we were joined by alumni from last year’s seminar to discuss the incredible experiences and opportunities this program has provided, including LPMSA Co-President Paloma Del Real!

This seminar offers valuable hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to medical education. We highly encourage members interested in medicine to consider applying next year and take advantage of this amazing opportunity.

We would also love to celebrate what our members are accomplishing this summer! Whether you’re volunteering, conducting research, shadowing, traveling, or participating in other programs, please send us photos and updates so we can highlight your achievements.
