The Latino Pre-Medical Student Association is a pre-professional organization structured to provide support and opportunity for Latino students.
LPMSA aims to develop a support network for Latino undergraduates pursuing health based pre-professional careers. The organization is dedicated in providing opportunities and providing encouragement for Latino pre-professional students. LPMSA will work to establish networking opportunities, clinical experience, peer support, and academic support. LPMSA also strives to support the Latino population

This weekend, LPMSA had the privilege of attending a City Council led event focused on empowering local families. Our members helped distribute school supplies to students across the valley an experience that truly reflects our mission of service, leadership, and community impact. Proud of our team and grateful for the opportunity to give back.

Kirk Kerkorian Summer Anatomy Seminar 🩺🏥
Hello Rebels! Last Thursday marked the completion of the Summer Anatomy Seminar for our HOSA and LPMSA members.
Throughout this incredible journey, we had the opportunity to strengthen our community while working alongside fellow pre-medical students, engage with supportive faculty through hands-on learning, and participate in a variety of exciting activities that helped prepare us for our future careers in healthcare.
We cannot thank Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV enough for providing such a valuable and inspiring experience. If you weren’t able to participate this year, we highly encourage you to keep an eye out and apply for next year’s program!

Volunteer Event with Touro Mobile Clinic🩺🚑
Today, our members had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Touro’s Mobile Clinic alongside PA and medical students. From translating for Spanish-speaking patients to helping measure vital signs, our members gained valuable hands-on experience while serving the community.
This event not only allowed our members to develop clinical skills, but also highlighted the importance of increasing Latino representation in healthcare and improving access to care for underserved populations.

Hello, LPMSA! We hope you’re enjoying your summer break! ☀️
Several of our members have the exciting opportunity to participate in the Summer Anatomy Seminar hosted by throughout the month of June. Today, we were joined by alumni from last year’s seminar to discuss the incredible experiences and opportunities this program has provided, including LPMSA Co-President Paloma Del Real!
This seminar offers valuable hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to medical education. We highly encourage members interested in medicine to consider applying next year and take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
