Resurfacing after a long sabbatical absence to let any interested parties know about some big changes in the Italian program this semester: We are piloting a new Open Educational Resource (OER) textbook in Italian 111, which is free, and supplementing with some new approaches. There is also, for the first time, an online Italian 212 class offered. We have never offered that class online before, since it appeared too challenging to offer the same quality of experience online as in the classroom. However, with some of these new approaches, the class structure will be more fluid and individualized, which mean students will have more control over their learning process. It's not too late to enroll, and I welcome your questions :)
