Happy October! 🎃✨ I’m sharing my guaranteed October weekend availability for anyone needing childcare for date nights, work, errands, or just a little break! If you don’t see the date you need listed, feel free to reach out; I’m always happy to accommodate if I’m available. Care is primarily available for ages 2–5, but I’m also happy to accommodate school aged children based on availability!

Happy Monday, everyone! 🐮🌾🚜We’re continuing our Down on the Farm theme this week while mixing in some fun October & Halloween activities! 🎃

Today, the kiddos enjoyed barn animal matching to strengthen recognition & matching skills, building barns with popsicle sticks to encourage creativity and fine motor development, and a fun Halloween Syllable Bingo game to practice early literacy and listening skills! We’re looking forward to another fun filled week of learning and Fall fun throughout the month! 🍂🧡

September is here, and we’re diving into our new Family & Pets theme! Today we created our own family puzzles by drawing family pictures, building creativity, fine motor skills, and problem solving. We also practiced name recognition by finding the letters in our names and we worked on counting & number sense with math stories and number lines! We are looking forward to all the learning, creating, and growing during this new month! 💜✨🔢🚀

Miss Rae’s Space will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday, September 8th. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday! ✨

Happy Monday from Miss Rae’s Space! Today we continued our All About Me theme and kicked off our week learning about clothing and self care skills. We started by talking about shirts, and the kiddos decorated their own little shirts that we’ll be hanging on a clothesline in our space! This gave them a chance to express their creativity while strengthening fine motor skills and making their own choices.

We also practiced putting beginning and ending sounds together to create simple words, helping build phonemic awareness, early reading skills, and vocabulary. To finish up, we worked together to sort different items by all the colors of the rainbow, strengthening color recognition, sorting/classification skills, and teamwork. We still have more to explore this afternoon and lots of fun learning ahead this week! ☺️✨
