A huge congratulations to all the Legacy Bands this year for yet another incredible spring festival season. Intermediate and Advanced Bands yet again received Superior Ratings for their festival performances back in March, and yesterday (4/24) the Jazz Ensemble again also received a Superior Rating!

The bands had another banner year, and we will conclude our year with our Spring Concert on Monday, May 4th at 6pm - in the THEATER! Yes! We are back in the theater for our home concerts starting with this coming concert! Pre-Festival Concerts will continue to be in the Gym, but we are "retiring" the cafeteria for our home concerts, and will be back in the theater for Fall, Winter, and Spring Concerts!

Hope to see you there - and for our Awards Night at 6pm the following night on May 5th - THAT will be in the cafeteria!

Four more weeks to go, and yet another year is over. So insane, how fast time flies when you're having fun! :)

And a special note - WHAT AN LA TRIP last weekend! One of the best trips the Legacy Band and Color Guard has taken. The band sounded amazing on the Santa Monica Pier - and our GREEN KNIGHT SLAYED THE EVIL RED KNIGHT at Medieval Times! Those were just two of the many highlights of an incredible trip. I love traveling with this band/guard so much!

The 2026-27 year is looking to be very promising and the future is SUPER bright!

Ladies and gentlemen - esteemed students of the Legacy Band and Guard and alumni of the Legacy Band and Guard - I present to you our 2026-27 show “Fallout Zone”!! A nuclear wasteland theme - complete with a couple solos and a light visual using red glowing sticks (picture the guys at the airport pulling in aircraft - but we’re going to do it better) 😎😎. Going on Season #14 at Legacy - cannot wait for another amazing year ahead!!
