Last night, Las Vegas – MG John C. Fremont Chapter President Jodi Blasquez and VP of Outreach Jason Semerakis attended the Veterans Community & Founders Exchange (VCFX) Annual Awards Gala at Caesars Palace.

The evening celebrated the individuals and organizations making a difference throughout the veteran community and highlighted the importance of continued service beyond the uniform. We were especially proud to support Lester Lumbad, Chapter community partner, advocate, advisor, and President of VCFX, whose leadership continues to strengthen connections across the veteran, business, and community sectors.

Today, services were held for six Unaccompanied Veterans at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

All six served in the U.S. Army:

SPC Anthony Charles Sauceda
PFC John Michael Kinsner
SGT Dennis Edward Nelson
PFC James Vance Williams
SPC Randall Edwin Cross
SPC Orville Carl Saddoris Jr.

Each of these Soldiers was laid to rest with the dignity and honor they earned through their service to our nation. While no family was present, they were not alone.

Our Chapter President, Jodi Blasquez, was there to pay respects on behalf of our chapter and community.

Showing up matters. It is our responsibility to ensure these veterans are remembered and honored for their service.
