Dons fans, join us in congratulating coach Sal Archuleta on a happy retirement! After 25+ years coaching our youth, coach Sal “Chava” Archuleta has decided to call it a career. He spent the last fourteen and half years coaching in green and gold at west Las Vegas with the last 5 years being the man in charge. In that time he accumulated a record of 72 wins, and 33 losses. To coach the wins were always a plus, but seeing his players get better each day , wether it was on or off the field always meant more to him. A win to coach is seeing his players go on to do bigger and better things in life, as he has always preached “the game of baseball, teaches you the game of life”. Coach extends his deepest gratitude to the district of west Las Vegas and all staff for the support he has had the last decade plus. Coach Archuleta wishes nothing but the best for his successor, and the current and future athletes of west Las Vegas.
