Kenneth Korbel

I’m honored to introduce Kenneth Korbel, Founder of Granite & Pine Home Watch & Concierge, serving the area of Prescott, Arizona. Kenneth earned the important Certified Home Watch Professional designation.

Kenneth spent more than 30 years working in the music industry, where building relationships, earning trust, and taking care of details were a big part of his work. Those experiences continue to shape the way he approaches his business today. As an avid cyclist and hiker, husband, and dog dad, Kenneth enjoys getting out and exploring everything Prescott has to offer. He also loves meeting people, building relationships, and becoming part of the local community. He understands that when you’re away from your home, it’s important to know someone local is keeping an eye on things and treating your home with care.

That’s the idea behind Granite & Pine — providing personal, dependable home watch and concierge services so homeowners can have peace of mind while they’re away.

Kenneth has completed the NHWA Virtual Home Watch Boot Camp. 🚨 2009?! Would You Trust a 17-Year-Old Smoke Detector? 🚨

During a recent Home Watcher LV inspection, we heard a smoke detector beeping. While changing the battery, we checked the detector and discovered it was dated 2009.

😳 That smoke detector is about 17 years old—roughly 7 YEARS beyond the typical 10-year replacement recommendation.

A new battery may stop the beeping, but a fresh battery doesn’t make an old smoke detector new.

Smoke detectors are easy to forget about. They sit quietly on the ceiling year after year—but when you need one, you need it to work.

🔥 Take a minute and check the date on yours. That small step could make a big difference.

🎰 Don’t gamble with your home—or your safety.

When you're away, let Home Watcher LV keep an eye on your home.

More Water Damage Found During a Home Watch Inspection

During a previous Home Watch inspection, we discovered water damage at one of our customer’s homes and reported it so restoration could begin.

Unfortunately, the restoration process later stalled.

Our customer asked us to return to the property and check on the progress. During our re-inspection, we discovered additional water damage.

This is exactly why regular Home Watch inspections are so important—especially when a home is vacant and already undergoing repairs.

When restoration is delayed, problems don’t necessarily wait. What starts as one issue can quickly turn into additional damage and a much more expensive repair.

At Home Watcher LV, we don’t just check a box. We carefully inspect the home, look for changes or new problems, and report what we find so our clients can take action.

💧 Don’t gamble with your home.

Let us keep an eye on it while you’re away.

🚨 TWO HOMES. TWO BROKEN A/C UNITS. ONE DAY. 🚨

110°+ Las Vegas temperatures don’t wait for you to come home. ☀️🌡️

While performing scheduled inspections, Home Watcher LV discovered a failed A/C unit at TWO different customer homes — on the same day.

At one of the homes, the inside temperature was almost 100 degrees! 🥵

Imagine being away for weeks and coming home to find your house has been sitting in nearly 100° temperatures because the A/C stopped working.

The potential damage can be significant:

❌ Extreme temperatures inside the home
❌ Damage to flooring, furniture and personal belongings
❌ Damage to electronics and other valuables
❌ Potential damage to appliances and home systems
❌ Expensive emergency repairs
❌ A small A/C problem becoming a much larger problem

Thankfully, both problems were discovered during our inspections.

That's the value of having someone physically checking your home while you're away. You can't fix a problem you don't know exists.

🏠 DON’T GAMBLE WITH YOUR HOME.

Let Home Watcher LV keep an eye on your property while you're away.
