Hi, families! Just a reminder that our start time has changed this year! The school will open at 7:20am for breakfast. There will not be supervision before 7:20am. If students do not want breakfast, they should arrive at 7:30am.

Dismissal time has also changed! Students get out at 1:41pm. There is Safekey, but make sure you register and pay in advance. The areas of dismissal have also changed, so take a look at the map. It's only a slight change:)

And finally, make sure your child is fully registered! If you did not receive a placement letter stating who your child's teacher is, then you have not registered. Today or Monday will be your best bet to come into the office and take care of that:)

Congrats to Cortez FC-they made it to the playoffs! Today they celebrated the end of their regular season at their soccer banquet! Huge shoutout to these players for their time and dedication to the team, and to the families who supported them! And none of this would have been possible without Coach Alvarado and Coach Haro volunteering their time and skills! Way to go, Caballeros! ⚽️🩵🤍💙

Families, CCSD is considering making some changes to area elementary, middle, and high schools in the coming years. Please take this survey and give your input on what we should do with our buildings and facilities that have declining enrollment. The survey closes SOON! It takes about 15 minutes, but it's super important that your voice is heard. En espanol, tambien! :)

For decades, the story of our district was defined by rapid growth. The Clark County School District (CCSD) was one of the fastest-growing districts in the nation, and we stretched our capacity to open new school buildings and hire enough staff to fill them.
