I just sent out our very first Jr. Journalist Weekly Newsroom Briefing featuring our new logo, expanded programming, real-world journalism assignments, writing tips, interview opportunities, and a behind-the-scenes look at what makes great storytelling work.

This is so much bigger than a writing class.

Our young reporters will have opportunities to learn from entrepreneurs, community leaders, news reporters, robotics teams, documentary filmmakers, local politicians, Broadway performers, and even names like Rick Harrison and other special guests.

Starting this Monday, we'll also launch our weekly Newsroom Meetup:

We'll discuss story ideas, interview techniques, writing tips, upcoming assignments, and complete a fun journalism activity together.
