It's already YEAR 10 and we could not be more excited! We have grown again and are now serving over 900 COLLEGE BOUND SCHOLARS at our founding campus in East Las Vegas. If you know a NINTH or TENTH grade student who would like to immediately join a new homeroom, send them our way! Our office is open 8a-4p weekdays and new seats are first-come, first-served!

From NYC, scholars traveled to Vermont and attended classes at Middlebury College where three of our Equipo alumni (Abraham '21, Josue '22, and Miya '21) are in their first and second years of college. Along the way they demolished a Vermonster 20-scoop ice cream sundae before heading to Tufts University and visiting another Equipo alum, Sayra '21!

"The homesickness hits hard," Sayra told us about going to college so far from Vegas, "but it kinda makes going back home sweeter."

It may be Equipo Academy’s Fall Break, but we haven’t stopped proving ”Impossible is not.” Shout out to our 55 team members who earned the opportunity to travel to New York and New England this week to visit Northeast colleges and universities. So far they have visited our own alum Chris (Equipo Class of 2021) at NYU and toured Columbia University. They also found some great food and amazing views along the way. Next stop: Vermont!

We are saddened to share the loss of Ana, one of our founding parents and a member of our team since we began as the Scholars Working OverTime. Ana’s family invites all who can to contribute to her funeral costs by purchasing birria plates and tacos this Sunday at 11a at 193 Betty Lane. Please join us to support them if you are able!
