Let's make sure the echo chamber is a positive one.
I heard this phrase earlier this week and it really resonated with me. Our words are like an echo that go out into the world and then get magnified back to us. Negative thoughts and words come back more negative.
The 'work sucks' culture can be filled with funny memes and make for some really great sitcom shows, but ultimately I want my words and the way I think about work to be positive.
I'm too busy looking out into the future and all the possiblity that lies ahead to get bogged down in workplace drama.
Instead here's some tips to keep it positive:
1. Look at difficult situations as learning opportunities.
2. Be willing to laugh at yourself as much or more than you criticize other people. Stay humble.
3. Focus on solving problems for yourself and others. Impact and purpose make it all worthwhile.
How are you keeping your work positive?

Small actions can lead us to believe in big changes.
One of my clients recently took a major step toward getting her dream job and building a career she really loves.
She told me that with each action she takes she believes more and more that she will reach her dream.
Dreaming alone is not enough. While you may know that actions lead to making the dream real, it's also the small actions along the way that help us to believe in ourselves and to believe that achieving our dreams are possible.β¨π¦

It's all about perspective and change.
While most people only know Las Vegas as a place full of wild parties, the outskirts of the city offer a quiet desert paradise away from the crowds.
I'm using my brief stop here as a chance for self reflection and relaxation.
So much has changed for me in the last couple years. Two years ago I left my corporate job to travel through Latin America where I spent 6 wonderful months in 5 different countries on a sabbatical of personal growth that truly changed my life.
Then like many of us last year was a hard year of having the world of travel slip from my grasp and struggling with financial uncertainty. However, it turned out to be a year of even greater growth as it gave me the space for planning and laying the foundation for building my dream career and preparing for my next adventure.
Now I am so excited to begin a brand new travel journal, working as a coach and getting to do what I love by helping other people thrive in their careers.
Las Vegas is just my first stop along the way. While change can seem difficult in the moment, I am embracing everything ahead!
Don't let yourself settle for feeling stuck in your career. Let me help you design a career you truly love.

The wonderful in between! Just noticing how the moon rises before the sun sets.
As l was taking my evening walk, I absolutely loved the symbolism of that.
Even nature itself is designed with one cycle overlapping into another.
The times in my life when I have learned and grown the most have been in the beautiful in between. π¦
If you're in a time in your life when you're not quite where you want to be, but still growing from where you've been...
then you are exactly where you need to be. Keep going!β¨
