E​liminating the stigma of mental health problems in the Orthodox Jewish community. The first and most important strategy to reduce stigma is education.

The fear of stigma and misinformation about mental health matters often prevent people in need of psychological treatment from accessing it. Although effective help and treatment may be available, stigma can result in people not accessing it when they need it most. My goal is to disseminate accurate and reliable information about a wide range of mental health topics and questions. I seek to empowe

- Know how to identify a qualified therapist.
- Only work with licensed (or those being supervised by licensed) professionals.
- Better to find a therapist who's a good fit for you than one who does XYZABC therapy.
- Better to find a therapist who's a good fit for you than "the top specialist" for a particular disorder.
- It's OK to prefer a therapist who understands and/or appreciate your values.

Dr. Krohn elaborates on some of the common reactions religious parents have when their children behave in ways that do not align with the parents' values, and he offers some insight into the source of those reactions.
