This week, we stopped by Desert Pines HS and Western HS for their Feeder School Kickoff Events! They had some great performances, speakers, and professional development.

Full-circle moments like this are why we do what we do. At our New Hire Orientation, our Board Vice President ran into one of his former students!

Erick Santillan graduated from Desert Pines High School in 2019.

Erick was part of the "Adopt a Jag" program, where teachers mentor student-athletes. He was Galdino's "jag kid," then became his student aide.

Now, Erick is a new CCEA member and will be teaching 5th grade this year! 📚🎉

Congrats, Eric, on helping to shape the next generation of students!
