The first event of what will be a very busy Flute Weekend at UNLV!

UNLV welcomes to campus Demarre McGill, principal flutist of the Seattle Symphony; and Anthony McGill, principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic! They will present a masterclass in Doc Rando Recital Hall this Friday 4/19 at 10:30 AM. We're looking forward to their visit!

LVFC Flute Day is Sunday, April 16th, with guest artist Bart Feller! Here is the schedule of events:
9:30 AM - Registration
10:00 AM - Group warm-up session (bring your flutes!)
11:00 AM - Competition finals
12:30 PM - Lunch/ensemble warm up for member recital
2:00 PM - Panel: Career Opportunities in Music (Bart Feller)
3:00 PM - Masterclass (Bart Feller)
5:30 PM - Members Ensemble Concert
7:00 PM - Guest Artist Recital (Bart Feller, flute; Katie Leung, piano)
