Hey creative sisters! I played around with a few different project ideas from other artists on YouTube and turned them into one. The thought behind this is similar to a dream catcher. However, mine is based on prayer. 🙏🏼🥰

Heyyyy! It's Sunday! Another great sermon by Pastor Ty today. Just for fun, I'm posting my church outfit of the day. This one is currently my fave outfit from !

Hey creative sisters! Do you ever start an art project with a perfect vision of it in your mind? Then, as you are working on it, you realize that it's not going to happen, but you finish anyway? 🤣 That's what happened here!
When I began, I envisioned a cracked wall that had an open area, and in that open area, I would create a mixed-media background sky. For this project, I used the washi tape technique. Even though it looks nothing like I envisioned, I continued to finish it. Why? Because though this piece would be considered a failure, following through to the end has taught me some things, and the process itself was beneficial for my overall learning and skill. Plus, the act of "arting" itself is great practice and truly good for your soul.
I used washi, stamps, and diecuts.

As an artist, I lurve wearing clothes that bring me joy. Church is a fun day to wear clothing that represents me as a woman and an artist. God adores you. And so do I!

Hey creative sisters! Yesterday was one year since my father passed away. I decided to create a page in honor of the man I called "Daddy." He dedicated the song Butterfly Kisses to me shortly after I got married (30+ years ago). I think of him every time I hear this song, so I also included some of the lyrics.

Hey creative sisters! The new colors Ingrid is using in her recent kits are the most beautiful color combinations I've ever seen. Here, you'll find I used the packing tape I pulled off of the box she sent me. I added some watercolors and then used paper texture paste to make my clouds. Ingrid's presentation when packaging orders is exquisite. I use so much of her packaging material in my art. The focus verse for this page is Exodus 19:9 ESV
