Hey creative sisters! Here we are at verse 5 in our journal.
"Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth."
Meekness is a quality I've desired most of my life. If you, too, are looking for ways to be meek, check out the everyday examples I've provided in my journal entry here.

Hey creative sisters! Check these out!
I've been trying different ways to create those momigami papers.
Momigami is the traditional Japanese art of kneading and wrinkling paper to give it a soft, durable, cloth- or leather-like texture.
I've attempted to make it using multiple techniques and supplies. All were either completely unsuccessful or had something about the process/end result I didn't like. Fast forward to last night, a friend showed me a super easy way to create the momigami paper using hair conditioner. Wow!! What a difference! It was super simple. It didn't take forever, and my arthritic hands weren't killing me once I finished crumpling (kneading) the paper.
Here is the end result. I used acrylic paint, as all techniques I tried used this. However, in the end, just to change them up a bit, I added some Lindy's sprays or powder. I can't wait to use these in my projects or to sew them into an art journal. Thanks, Pantene! LOL!

Hey, my beautiful sisters! I pray this post finds you well this lovely Wednesday afternoon. I continue working through the kit. Today's verse is Matthew 5:4.
"Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted."
If you are mourning a loved one or if you are going through something right now, a struggle, a heartbreak... please know I am praying for you. I pray the Lord comforts you as He wraps you in His healing embrace. And that you will be filled with a supernatural peace, only God can provide.

Amy of Everything Art reached out to me a while back to ask permission for them to use a photograph for their Wanderlust magazine of an art journaling page I created. I created the page in July 2025. This specific class was taught by Roben-Marie Smith I absolutely lurved this specific teaching!
Well, I just stumbled onto the online magazine. Kind of cool!
