World Peace Goddess was started in 2013 by Jill Farmar, a retired professional soccer player, mother, and yoga teacher, in order to provide a safe and sacred space for women to come together and be empowered. She offered a weekly outdoor, donation-based yoga class and all the donations were directed to a different nonviolent charity. From outdoor yoga classes, World Peace Goddess expanded into wom

Had to take some time to process her passing. You know her. You love her. She is one magnificent manifestation of a world peace goddess, to me.

Now, I ask myself:

How can I be more like her?

As we move through the challenges of our lives, perhaps we stop every so often and ask ourselves:

What would RBG do?

Then, let’s just do that. Shall we?

Dear RBG,

Wow... to your life, impact, and legacy.

Thank you... for your presence, voice, and light.

Help... guide us as an ongoing inspiration, spiritual guardian, and inner voice residing in our own feminine wisdom.

My tween (a growing goddess) and I took a spontaneous early morning stroll. We had the unplanned privilege of sharing a mo(o)nday sunrise.

So, I offer a kind reminder and loving affirmation, to you goddess, that we do indeed NEED a strong connection with nature to thrive.

(Insert the laundry list of studies to scientifically prove it. Feel free to post your favorite nature-human wellness fun facts below!)

Prioritizing nature time is not an unnecessary luxury, nor is it an inaccessible desire. So no more excuses.

We are nature. We really are! Honoring nature, in all forms, is a way of honoring ourselves.

If honoring yourself is not a priority, girl, we are gonna have to have a chat about that! 💕

Anyhoo, communing with nature is a “namaste”, “we all are one” kinda thing! And there’s not a right way to do it. There’s your way. And that’s all that matters, really. We all share a sky, an earth, and air at any given moment. So at any given moment, feed your inner goddess a lil’ sunshine, perhaps!

Inspire your sister goddesses and feel free to share a nature brag of your own below!

My most recent audiobook listening and motivating pleasure. (Makes washing dishes & folding laundry so much more soothing).

My biggest takeaway: take action. JUST DO IT.

***Which of the following quotes from the book resonate with you most?***

A) Confidence, ultimately, is the characteristic that distinguishes those who imagine from those who do.”

B) Simply put, a woman’s brain is not her friend when it comes to confidence. We think too much and we think about the wrong things. Thinking harder and harder and harder won’t solve our issues, though, it won’t make us more confident, and it most certainly freezes decision making, not to mention action. Remember, the female brain works differently from the male brain; we really do have more going on, we are more keenly aware of everything happening around us, and that all becomes part of our cognitive stew. Ruminating drains the confidence from us. Those negative thoughts, and nightmare scenarios masquerading as problem solving, spin on an endless loop. We render ourselves unable to be in the moment or to trust our instincts because we are captive to those distracting, destructive thoughts, which gradually squeeze all the spontaneity out of life and work. We have got to stop ruminating.”

C) “I think confidence is the way we meet our circumstances, whether they are wondrous and wonderful or really hard and difficult,” she offered, with a tranquil smile. “It’s almost like a wholeheartedness, where we’re not holding back. We’re not fragmented. We’re not divided. We’re just going towards what’s happening. There’s an energy to it. I think that’s confidence. And it’s absolutely part of human fulfillment.”

Our morning read aloud + painting = peace, connection, grounding, self expression, language arts, and, in this case, history, since we’re covering THE WOMAN’S HOUR: OUR FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO VOTE. (Adapted for young readers) Some believe reading aloud is the most important element of your homeschool journey. We certainly love it! Whatever you do, do it with joy 💕

Here’s the simple art therapy prompt that we used — great for kids AND adults:

1. Choose a color that represents how you’re feeling.

2. Paint a circle.

3. Inside that circle, use lines and shapes to represent how you’re feeling.

4. Name your painting.

No judgement. Honor the process and insight. Breathe. Always breathe.

You’ve got this!

I appreciated this wonderful and timely movie. ❤️ Watched it with my little goddesses today to celebrate after discussing the history of this important holiday, which I am so grateful to be aware of now. In this global season of deepened self-study and personal and societal responsibility, I pray we continue on this path of listening, learning, reflection, responsibility and action. I hope we’re creating activist-guided lifestyle changes (aka consistent, intentional and courageous action) to match our expanded awareness and compassion.

I don’t have a summer solstice event or new moon circle planned for this weekend. I needed to halt and reflect. Do still check in with yourself, your needs, your voice, and CONNECT with your supportive sisterhood community. Fill your cup. And allow others to do the same.

Don’t have a reliable sister goddess community?

Drop a comment below or dm me to feel seen, heard and celebrated as the goddess you are. What’s on your heart? Would love to reflect your light back to you. You’re amazing. Sacred. Sovereign. Brilliantly unique. Remember that, always. 💜

Online Full Moon Goddess Circle Thursday night (May 7th) from 7-9pm PST.

Will post event info ASAP.

But enjoy the full moon powers on your own tonight, in the meantime...

Some of my favorite “go-to” full moon rituals:

1. Reflect on what inside of you wants to be illuminated and expressed into the world. Could be light, could be shadow. It’s all part of our beautifully whole and FULL selves! Share this with at least one listening sacred sister.

***This is especially important as we process the lessons we’ve learned during this quarantine and make the commitment to grow from this experience.

2. Connect with fellow goddesses and revel in your goddessness!

3. Dance under the moon!

4. Cleanse your crystals & stones in the moonlight

5. Moon bathe

6. Create art

For the online circle tomorrow, I’m feeling an UNTAMED theme!

Anyone else finish reading, or still reading, or wanting to read Glennon Doyle’s book UNTAMED?!

I loved it! Read it if you haven’t!

Event will be posted soon.

**DM me if you’d like me to tag you in the event when it’s up! Also, let me know if you have any special requests for the circle! 💋
