Everything is created twice. There is power in knowing this.

Everything in the room you are in, the chair you are sitting in, the desk you are working at, the cup of coffee in your hand, was first a thought before it became a thing.

Our minds are always creating. The results of your life are created from what your predominant thinking is.

If you are experiencing lack of love, health, wealth, freedom, etc. in your life, it is because you first created the lack in your mind. Then the lack is created in form.

If you have abundant love, energetic health, wealth and freedom in your life, it was created first in your thoughts.

You must be conscious of your thoughts and notice what you are noticing. You need to be impeccable about your thoughts.

Do you use words that …

• Victimize (something is done to you) or do you just describe what happened?
• Indicate lack of choice (you have to go to work) or words that you are in charge (you get to, you want to)?
• Are self-deprecating (you hate this about yourself) or inspiring?
• Anger you (profanity) or that are kind, compassionate, descriptive, and loving?
• Are fearful and untrusting or ones reflecting a feeling of safety and trust?
• Show lack and limitation (I can’t afford that) or ones of abundance?

We each have a story, but we are NOT our story. Stories such as: you were abandoned as a child, or your parent was an addict or alcoholic? Did you have a debilitating disease as a child? Or maybe you grew up in the projects.

Some of our stories may be tragic and unfortunate, but they do not define who we are, unless we let them.

You feed your mind with what you watch on TV, read in books, magazines and newspapers. You feed your mind with social media, conversations with friends and family.

Eliminate thoughts you do not want. Focus on thoughts you do want. One way to do this is to end each day by writing 5 things you are grateful for from that day. In the morning read your list. That night write 5 more things you are grateful for. In the morning read your entire list. Continue this practice every night after. The catch is you can never write the same thing twice. This will create a new set point and gives you a new positive focus.

To focus on the thoughts you do want, it is important to have a vision for your life. What is important to you? Where do you want to be in three years? Doing what?

We don’t always know what our life’s purpose or journey is supposed to be.

Or we may have some dreams we are overwhelmed with. However, one thing is for sure: if we are feeling restless or discontent we are not living our dreams! We must honor our feelings of longing and discontent for something else, even when we don’t know for sure what they mean, are actually calls from the Universe to pursue our greater good.

We discover true desire when we honor our longings and discontent.

When you experience discontent or feel restless and you’re not sure why don’t shut it out just because you don’t know what it means. When you shut off your yearnings you become numb and paralyzed to create something more interesting. Honor those inner rumblings to the front of your mind for examination. These rumblings are nudging you toward a more meaningful existence and urging you not to settle for mediocrity.

Opening yourself up by examining your longings and discontent is to honor them. Allowing your thoughts to lead you toward your purpose.

We also need to be aware of messages from those around us and not let others criticize us for shutting down our dreams, or even our discontent. Restlessness is the Universe speaking to us. It is telling us there is more out there and we are not here to lead limited cramped lives. Allow the Universe to be louder and ring truer than anyone else’s. We are not here to settle for less than our purpose. Nor should we settle for what anyone else limits us to.

Each and every one of us has infinite potential for creating whatever it is we want to create. Honor your potential by designing a life you LOVE living.

Dreams and desires pull at us, tug at us, speak to us, and will not leave us alone. This is because we are not meant to live cramped lives. Honor these inner friction rubs. They will create the spark that ignites the fire of your own purpose. You will know when your desire is sincere. When just talking about it gives you energy and motivates you, even when fruition is far off. Harness your positive energy to partake in the plan that is in store for you. In doing so, you will honor your discontent and let it lead you to your greater good.

Good news: you get to choose what kind of life you are going to live.

Some people live ninety years; some people live one year ninety times. You can live a life pushed by discontent and unsettledness, or you can live a life overflowing with abundance.

What kind of life are you willing to live?

Step 1: Ask yourself whether you are willing to live in abundance.

There are two houses, one with electricity and one without. The wires are available to them both, but only those in the lit house have figured out how to hook themselves up. Those in the lit house are not “lucky.” They are simply plugged into the laws of electricity.

In the same way, people who achieve success in life are not lucky. Well-being and a sense of full aliveness are not accidental. Everything works according to law.

The people who live in an ever-improving state of well-being do things a certain way. They have learned the secrets of the universe’s laws, and they practice them with ever-greater skill throughout their lives.

Anyone can have abundance in life. We are supposed to have abundance. We are meant for it. The universe doesn’t hold abundance back; we hold it from ourselves.

Your first step is to ask yourself a question: Would it really be okay if the universe opened the door to you? Would it really be okay if you began to live at a much higher octave of abundance? Are you willing?

Step 2: Say Yes!

Don’t answer the question quickly. You set new things in motion just by that answer. If you say “Yes,” a really wholehearted “Yes,” new things will happen just by that “Yes!” If your answer is, “What does that mean?” or “What do I have to give up?” or “What new things will come into my life?” then you are hesitant. You are not able to manage a broader level of experience because you are not willing.

But if you say “I really want to live in harmony, I really want to live in the abundance of the universe,” then your life will begin to grow in abundance.

Step 3: Grasp your “Set Point.”

Somewhere in your belief system, you have a set point for how much abundance you believe you can have. If you want to know what your set point is, look at your life. We create the lives we believe we ought to have: a certain amount of love, a certain amount of money, a certain amount of happiness. These beliefs may not be conscious, but they are still there, controlling our level of abundance.

Of course, sometimes something extraordinary overcomes our set point. We might get an inheritance, or someone could take us out to dinner. Surprising, wonderful things can come into our lives, but unless we have built a consciousness that can hold the experience and make it ours, we will find some way to get rid of it.

Over 90% of lottery winners return to their original incomes within three years of winning the lottery—even those who win millions and millions of dollars. Somehow they spend money, give money away, buy things that lose value, until they have no winnings left, and they have returned to their set point.

To really win the lottery, you have to build a consciousness that attracts and accepts and stabilizes abundance.

There is no set point in the universe. The set point is marked according to our own thinking. Pay attention to your set point and how it plays out in relationships, finances, and the freedom and flow with which you move through the material world.

Allow subconscious beliefs and attitudes to surface so you can look at them and decide whether they are true or just an old belief that needs to be replaced.

Step 4: Pour clean water in a muddy bucket.

If you have a bucket with muddy water in the bottom, you don’t have to get the mud out. You just need to pour in clear water. As you begin the process of activating abundance, you will begin to learn the beliefs you hold that say “No.”

For example, if you are codependent maybe you have a subconscious belief that everyone changes themselves to fit into someone else's mold. Or that their needs take a priority over yours. It doesn’t matter where this belief comes from. You don’t need to understand the roots of your beliefs, and you don’t have to dig them out. Just focus on your “Yes!” Pour in the clear water, and eventually every limitation will be gone.

There are 4 keys to increasing your self-confidence.

Confidence Key #1 - Turn Comparison Into Curiosity

When you find yourself comparing yourself to someone else, push the pause button on your thoughts. Don't think you are less than or greater than. Instead see it as your personal best.

Turn up the curiosity, and focus on the truth in this moment.
Accept your flaws, focus on your strengths and achieving your personal best.

Affirmation: Every day in every way I am getting better and better.

Confidence Key #2 - Increase Self Praise

When you PRAISE yourself and others you actually RAISE your vibration. Your body hears you. Praise decreases stress hormones.
Imagine standing in front of a full length mirror naked. What do you see? What do you hear yourself thinking or saying? Push pause on and self-talk you wouldn't have spoken to your best friend. Speak to yourself like a dear friend, like someone you love unconditionally.

Affirmation: I see problems as interesting challenges.

Confidence Key #3 - Quickly Forgive Yourself For Your Past Failures

Non-forgiveness paralyzes you by your fear.
You cannot succeed at anything unless you treat yourself like a human being, and a human being makes mistakes.
Affirmation: Today I quickly forgive myself for my failures, recent and past, small and large. I choose to learn, grow, expand, and take baby steps to create my personal best TODAY.

Confidence Key #4 - Use Your Imagination

Recall a time in your life you were super confident.
Take a moment to imagine playing a new empowering role aligned with your vision.

Affirmation: My inspiration is as close as my breath and as vast as the Universe.

Self-confidence is key to living into a vision driven life. We need to have a relationship with ourselves to know what it is we would LOVE our lives to be like.

There are two essential elements to the Law of Attraction: Desire and Expectation.

Desire is a positive process. When you earnestly desire something, the Law connects you with the invisible side of it. If your desire weakens, the connection is weakened.

“Desire without expectation is idle wishing or dreaming.” - Raymond Howard

Just like our earth’s gravitational pull, expectation is the force that pulls us towards what we want.

When you expect something, you do not desire, you attract the undesirable. And when you desire something that is not expected, you will not reach your goal or dream. Continuous expectation is necessary to bring what you desire into the reality of your life.

Your mind is a magnet. Whatever you imagine, whatever you expect and think about will bring into your life conditions and circumstances that are in harmony with it. Good or bad.

By using the Law, obstacles will strengthen your resolve. Discouragement from others will serve to strengthen you. You’ll use your stumbling blocks as steppingstones to success.

We all have desires. Yours are different than mine. We all have expectations. Our expectations were molded by the conditions and circumstances we grew up in. We learned who to trust and not trust. We learned what to expect from people and ourselves.

There are 4 areas to the life you are living: relationships, health and wellness, career, and time money freedom. Most people have one or two of the areas that are good and the others need work.

Which area are you having the most difficult time with right this minute? What keeps you up at night with worry?

What if you could take the areas you marked as good and make them great. And in turn take the areas which need work and make them good or even great? Amazing right?

Your Possibilities Are Endless.

Even though life gets in the way at times, the Universe is hard at work trying to bring love, joy and peace into it. Be open to receiving. Whatever comes may seem so far out of reach. But that's where your growth and transformation happens.

So when LIFE tries to get in the way, stop and say "Up Until Now...". Face your problems head-on. Change your course in life in a split second by breaking old patterns of thinking, being and doing. Always ask the Universe for "This or Something Better".

I believe in you! You are reading this post for a reason! You are destined to live a life anyway, so live it by design instead of by default.
