The Horses! Horses! horsemanship program is a leadership skills program targeting Las Vegas middle school students from families in public housing.
The "Horses Horses Horses" Program is an eight week mentoring program designed for students ages 9-14 that teaches the core values of self esteem, interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking and overall respect through equine care and cowboy values as related to the code of the west. Here comes the obstacles!! First we have to a plan a pattern, set it up, then run it, twice!😁 then the riding begins, the “leaders” did great. We finished the day with decorating horseshoes!!

Our day was filled with learning about horse trailers, and how much a saddle can weigh! Then of course they rode and learned it takes “courage”... they all did very well. Next class is obstacles.. keep ya posted!

Another exciting class on Saturday, we had Penny Bichsel and her awesome partner Black Tye Cabaret show us their talents! Easy to see why they are “Champions”!
